Who we are

Lafosse was founded in 1979 in Wevelgem as an installer of professional kitchen appliances and became best known for the exclusive distribution of Molteni stoves and the personal approach.
In 2010, the company was taken over by Karel Lafosse (2nd generation) and business partner Benjamin Vandorpe, after which the organization was further professionalized.

In 2019, the activities of Vermandere nv were acquired, which has been a supplier to the Lafosse company for 35 years. Vermandere is known as a manufacturer of custom-made extractor hoods, furniture and stainless steel floor gutters. In addition to being a supplier to Lafosse, Vermandere also supplies third parties. www.vermandere.be
The corona crisis forced the company, which is largely dependent on the hospitality industry, to reinvent itself and with the knowledge and know-how, a new opportunity was tapped in 2020: the production and commercialization of disinfection columns with automatic hand-free dispensers under the brand name HandsHero www.handshero.com .

In 2023, the activities of Lafosse, Vermandere and HandsHero were consolidated within the LAVA Group BV and Bo Samaey and Björn Callewaert joined the company as partners.
